REGENERATIVE ORGANIC CERTIFIED
COCONUT SUGAR

ETHICALLY-SOURCED FROM INDONESIA
Coconut sugar is indigenous to Indonesia, where it has been produced for generations using traditional methods passed down through families. The process begins with farmers climbing coconut trees to tap the sweet sap from the blossoms. This sap is then carefully boiled over an open fire to create a rich, caramel-like syrup, which is dried and molded into blocks, granules, or paste. These time-honored techniques, often carried out in small, family-run farms in the jungle, preserve the artisanal quality and authentic flavor of coconut sugar.
By sourcing our coconut sugar from these smallholder farmers, we support their livelihoods and ensure the preservation of this rich cultural heritage. Known for its exceptional flavor and quality, our coconut sugar reflects the dedication of these farmers to sustainable, eco-friendly practices that protect biodiversity and promote a more sustainable future.

REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

REGENERATIVE ORGANIC CERTIFICATION (ROC)
Our commitment extends beyond merely cultivating coconuts; it involves fostering agroforestry systems that nurture robust soils, safeguard biodiversity, and actively sequester carbon, among other invaluable benefits.
Guided by indigenous wisdom, our producers meet ROC's stringent standards by implementing the following pillars:
-
Soil Health: practices that enhance biodiversity and preserve soil structure such as no-till, mulching, composting and cover crops
-
Animal Welfare: integrating animals with nature and providing a safe environment
-
Social Fairness: treating farm workers fairly and ensuring safe working conditions
